This story was very much inspired by the lasting memories we all create each Chrismtas with our families. As Christmas for most is very much about family coming together it was important to show a contrast in age and passage of time. 

Christmas is about several generations within a family sharing time together. For kids it is a truly magical time while for adults it's a memorable and cherished time. 

This is exactly what we tried to capture when we follow Aoife and her grand dad through the years of their ever changing relationship. The gift Aoife receives that first Christmas starts as a present but as the years go on becomes more of a symbol, memory and cherished ritual over their shared love and interest for racing over the years. On that final Christmas Aoife is finally presented with something more that finally brings a childhood dream into reality.
